I recently updated my Mac and installed the latest Vine Server.
Now I can’t authenticate from my Linux machine running x2vnc.
I would guess that there’s a protocol version issue, but I am not sure.
Would it be possible for me to get the previous version and wait for x2vnc to catch up? I can’t seem to find it on your site.
You can specify a lower protocol version on the preferences under Advanced, hopefully that allows you to get it to work with Vine Server 3.0.
If not, all older versions are available on SourceForge.net in the downloads section:

Tried changing the option for version in 3.0, still no go.
Then I tried version 2.2, and it immediately worked.
I wonder what the cause could be.
