Would brightness effect VNC on Mobile devices?

I wonder if screen brightness could effect the accurate of OCR/image recognition on mobile devices?

I have noticed that if I change my background images on iPhone and Android to just BLACK images and turn off as many effects/animations as possible… that OCR seems to go faster.

Just wondering.

Brightness should not have any impact, the pixel values should be unchanged.

Removing backgrounds and disabling animations probably will be helpful for OCR and image recognition in general.
