I have a Vine server running on a Mac OS machine, and connect to it via VNC to a Linux machine. The Mac is an Intel running 10.5.8.
Is there an issue that prevents Skype video from showing up. The webcam is, of course, connected to the Mac. The Skype audio works fine, as do all audio/video functionality via VNC – in fact I use the Mac for multimedia – it sits next to the Linux box. My video sends normally, but I receive no video. Besides acting as the VNC client, the linux machine has nothing to do with the Mac.
The person I’m connected to is able to send video to others, but I just don’t receive it. I can watch DVD’s playing on the Mac, streaming media, and everything else I’ve tried.
