Hi,
I am doing POC for Asian language reading by egg plant and comparing this data with the translations what I have in the excel file.
I have following questions here.
- I have created a script to convert Excel data(Japanese translation) into XML. Then I am reading the this data and comparing with AUT.
a. Some strings are being compared correctly and some are not. Even though in the log both strings are displayed same. I have kept the displayed text below. What could be the problem?
b. I can see the characters displayed on the screen and XML are same, but when OCR is reading those characters these are being read incorrectly…
What could be the problem?
I tried using the read text by mentioning the Font, removing the font while reading the data etc. but it doesn’t compare.
I tried changing the encoding to “UTF8”, “Unicode” or “JananeseEUC” but using these multiple options doesn’t work for reading data.
Will this also impact for reading by OCR for SimplifiedChines and Korean character set?
