switching to Observe?

I am using Vine Viewer with Mac HelpMate (don’t know if MHM is related). These sessions are from my Intel based mac running 10.4.8 to other macs w/ various OS’s, all using OSXvncserver

and during the sessions, my viewer keeps switching to Observe, and I have to mouse up to the menu to go back to live mode.

I can’t see any rhyme or reason to this pattern.

Has anyone else seen this?

Vine Viewer has a “toggle” key which you can press and release (with no other action in between) to switch in and out of Observe mode. It is defined to Command initially but you can change it to a different modifier if you prefer in the Vine Preference.
