We’ve just converted our primary systems to SuSE Linux SLES 10 with SLED 10 (soon to be 11) workstations attached. The application we need to test is entirely text based with no mouse support and is run in a Gnome terminal window. I’m attracted to eggPlant because it appears to be a tool that can be used now to test the text based app but also in the future when we convert it to a GUI app. Will eggPlant work under these circumstances?
EDIT: When we normally test, we’re doing anything from sitting at a workstation to a secure shell from Windows or another SuSE server.
