Storing a password under Tiger

I read through the faqs and, in trying to use the command line to start up vncosx, I see that I need to specify the password for the service.

The -help suggests using storepasswd but that does not appear to be an available command on my Tiger system.

Is there another built-in option?

The storepasswd executable is found inside the OSXvnc.app bundle alongside the osxvnc-server executable.
