Multiple users working on a suite simultaneously

We are using a network drive to share our scripts. How do you lock a script, so other people can’t access it while you are working on it? As soon as someone opens a script it should be read-only to other people. Is there a way to do this?

That would be a nice feature!

For now, though, you can lock your script in the Finder. (Right click the file, and choose Get Info.)
