Languages supported by Eggplant

Hi,

I am doing localization testing and I need to take a look at the languages supported by Eggplant OCR. Do you have any kind of list or document listing all the supported languages? I need this urgently, please help!

In v11.x of eggPlant you can specify any of these when doing OCR ReadText or for image find commands that use OCR (v12 will be adding additional asian language support):

Thank you for your reply. I am trying to test an application in Portuguese. At the following line Eggplant throws an exception-

put ImageFound(text: “some text”, language:Portug) into bResult

Please refer to the error screenshot attached.

I tried using -
language: Portuguese
language: Brazil
language: Brazilian
etc but Eggplant throws the same exception. Can you please help.

The screenshot shows a “No Remote Connection” failure, which means you are not actively connected to your SUT. If you are having difficulty getting a connection going or continue to have issues after connecting to a SUT, you may want to write in to support.

I tried with different languages and the error occurs with Portuguese language only. I dont think it is a connection problem because the error disappears when I change the language to some thing other that Portuguese. Can you please try it out and get back to me?

To read Portuguese text with OCR please use the Language parameter “PortugueseStandard” or “PortugueseBrazilian”. You can view an updated list of all of the supported OCR language parameters here: http://docs.testplant.com/?q=content/appendix-g-ocr-language-support
