Image recognition fails due to changed font on new server

I wonder if any of you could offer me some advice/ thoughts on this.

Due to compatibility issues with SQL Server we had to update the OS on our SUT from Windows Server 2008 to 2012.
The font used in the new version is different from the previous which causes a lot of problems with recorded tests since no images are getting recognised!
Has anyone face this problem before? There is no way of changing the font of the server for us und I wondered if there is a way to reduce the maintenance expenses or keep them to a minimum?

This sort of change will invalidate images captured with the old font. If the images are not set to use the Text search type, you could set them to use it and see if that allows them to be found. Otherwise there is no option other than recapturing the images that are not matching.
