Error resolving reverse host

I am getting this error in the log “Error resolving reverse host 10.1.10.176: Bad hints” when trying to connect to another computer on the same network on the same switch. The firewall is off on both computers. Apple remote desktop is off on both computers. The settings on both Vine clients/servers are the same. Both computers are running OS X Tiger. One is a MacBook (Intel) the other is a G3. I get the same error on both computers (client side) when trying to connect. Any ideas?

Maybe you can upgrade your server or client software to the latest version, also IPv6 vs the v4 or other releases are supported or not in different versions of software. Please upgrade and then specify the version of software you are using.

Wow thanks for the quick reply. I was using Version 2.1, just upgraded both to 2.2, still same issue. Both are IPv6.

(edited) Sorry, they are both IPv4.
