Caps lock not working

Caps lock isn’t working in vine. I saw that this issue surfaced in previous posts (circa 2007), but I couldn’t tell if there was a solution.

In this case, as in the others, the CAPS LOCK function works fine in C-o-t-VNC.

I also had the caps lock problem and solved it by changing the preferences in vine server:
prefs>device>Keyboard Layout> change to Unicode hex input.

Then caps lock behaves as it should (using RealVNC client on windows 2000)
