can eggplant work with android emulator?

because i don’t have mobile with android 2.3 i’ve been wondering if there is a possibility to test applications with eggplant an emulator. is it possible? how can you set it up?

Hi Kupix.

Yes, eggPlant can test emulators. eggPlant is an image based testing tool and anything the user can see, eggPlant can test.

eggPlant operates under a two system model whereby you have your eggPlant controller on one machine, and your SUT on another. So, you would have to have the emulator on a different machine to your eggPlant controller. The machine you put the emulator on can be a physical box or virtual machine.
