I just installed the Vine server on my iMac on Snow Leopard. It works well so-far. However, when connecting an “off-screen” user, I can only select the resolutions 1920x1200 (native res of my iMac), 1680x1050, 1280x1024, 1024x768 and 800x600. Is it possible to add more resolutions like 1024x600 (Netbook standard)?
Unfortunately this isn’t something Vine Server controls – it’s a function of the operating system which creates a “virtual” display when the user is off-screen.
I’m not aware of a way to create arbitrary resolution to this virtual display – if anyone discovers one please post the solution here and we may be able to incorporate it into Vine Server somehow.
