Accessing the SUT in Citrix

I am trying to access the Citrix hosted application from the client VM, and sill it is not connecting.

  1. Used Client’s Citrix site or VMWare Horizon from local desktop to get access the client’s VM
  2. From inside the client’s VM, trying to connect the Citrix hosted client application using Eggplant, and still getting the error message - Unsupported VPN login page detected. Expected to be redirected to the login page or the requested resource, but got status OK with the URL

I remember the exact error message from my another experience like when the Citrix site has 2FA enabled, then Eggplant cannot access the Citrix application.
But in the above scenario, I am already inside the client’s VM and network; and still getting same error. When I try to check using the browser from inside the client’s VM, the Citrix site is not asking 2FA as it is in same network but connecting via Eggplant(installed in Client’s VM) does it seems.

Any ideas or similar experience from anyone or how did you solve? Appreciate any inputs.

Hey @scsvel,

It might refer to the architecture of your citrix Farm and how its connected to your corporate network.
There are numerous options how citrix can be deployed and various ways how to authenticate and connect to it.
Meaning there is not a simple answer to your question.
Here are the supported connection types/authentications.
For a more detailed discussion we would need a meeting to understand how your citrix farm is connected and deployed. Which Citrix Gateway is used (there are more then one).
Kindly ask you to reach out to your assigned technical consultant and/or account manager to further clarify your setup.
Feel free to mention my name I might be able to join a meeting.

Cheers,
Karsten
