Eggplant Functional 21.2.0…
When trying to activate Eggplant using a temporary license key, the following dialogue appears.
We currently have no username.
It says the following in case you cannot access the .png for whatever reason:
“Invalid Key
We were unable to validate the key as entered. Please be sure the Key and User Name (if given) are both correct. Also note that most keys are only valid on a specific machine.”
You, or someone in your organization, will want to reach out to your Keysight representative directly. If you want to troubleshoot prior to that, I would recommend that you use the copy key function in Greenhouse, if you didn’t already. When I have run into this issue in the past, it came down to one of the following:
I accidentally included a leading or trailing space in the key.
I tried to use a license key that was bound to one MAC address on a different machine.
The license had expired.
Greenhouse should be able to provide the necessary information the eliminate the last two possibilities.
