host restarts or the viewer looses connection with the host/server. So would have to reconnect again. Just wondering if that is known problem or is their a fix for it. If any body can help. Thanks head.

Mac OS X forcibly kills any processes that are interacting with the screen buffer so there is no way to prevent the server from shutting down during a logout. If you are using the System Startup Item then the “keep-alive” script schould restart the server after a few seconds.
