Unexpected client connection

In reviewing the Vine Server log, I found an unexpected client connection by 104.25.20.18.

I am behind a firewall that has no services or ports open, passworded access, and my local domain is 192.168…

Can anyone tell me why or how an out of domain connection could have been made or if this is something else going on?

Thanks for any clues.

A reverse connection (initiated by Vine Server) can create a connection outbound through the firewall but otherwise there aren’t any ways within Vine itself to allow this. The other possibility is that something had gotten through the firewall another way.

Thanks.

I presume you mean by “initiated by Vine Server” that it would be something I initiated through VS and not some automatic thing VS does, right?

Correct – it is initiated by a menu in Vine Server (or from Command Line with the -reverseHost/-reversePort options).
