I’m using Vine Viewer to monitor 13 screens in remote locations. I have no problems with 12 of them but the other one won’t let me connect and returns the message: "Connection failed: Too many security failures. I can connect to this screen by other VNC clients with no problems and cannot find in the support literature any reference to the message I receive.
This can happen with many of the VNC Servers if you fail to login a few times in a row.
In particular – RealVNC will regard any IP connection to it’s VNC port as a “failed” login attempt and after a few it will temporarily disable access. For this reason we recommend choosing “Skip Availability Check” for any RealVNC servers.
