Still running as ppc on Intel dev machine and a few question

I have the most recent OSXVNC running. In the change log it states

Added support for Mac OS X running on INTEL.

Does this mean it shoud run native on intel, or just run. Because on my dev machine it still runs as PPC

Is there an icon you can enable to show when someone is connected to the machine via VNC?

Is there a way to disable OSX animations to help speed up vnc?

thanks for the great software

The 1.61 patch enables OSXvnc to run accurately on Intel. It is still using Rosetta, the PPC emulation mode. We’re working now on a native version that should be faster on Intel platforms.

We try to ensure that we remain compatible with RealVNC and TightVNC. For best possible performance we recommend TightVNC with the JPEG compression enabled. For use with Eggplant we recommend RealVNC.

Not currently, but it’s on our list of features to add.

No. We don’t know of any APIs that would disable those animations. We are looking at ways to remove the desktop picture if one is present.

just wanted to say thanks for the responce and thanks for the hardwork on the app
