share folder in win2000 can not save file

Hi

I put my suite file on windows 2000, a shared folder.
Use eggplant to open the suite and edit script. But when I save my script, it always prompt me “the document … could not be saved in suite”.
Does any one know the reason? It is so strange.
I can edit the script in other edit tool and save correctly. Only eggplant fails.

Did you check that the file system permissions are correct?

If the shared folder is SMB then this procedure might help:

Shutdown Eggplant.
Launch /Applications/Utilities/Terminal
Run this command:

defaults write com.redstonesoftware.Eggplant NotifyOnScriptUpdates -bool FALSE

Here at Redstone we primarily use CVS although we also have some suites stored in Subversion.
