require SSH options always getting unchecked

I’m running on OSX 10.5.5, for both client and server and using Vine server and client v3.
I’ve noticed that no matter how many times I check the “require SSH” in the System Server preference dialog box, when I next open it, this option is always UNCHECKED again.
I have examined the start up files created in /Library/LaunchAgents/VineServer
but I can find nowhere that seems to record the requirement for SSH login.

How can I check (and guarantee!) that all communications are going out over my SSH connection and nothing is being sent unencrypted?

The bug with the GUI not reloading your SSH setting is fixed in Vine Server 3.1Beta. Even with that bug if you had it checked when you clicked the “Start System Server” button then it will only run in SSH.

The easiest way to check if your VNC is publicly accessible is using this website: http://www.gotomyvnc.com/ And press the button, it will report any VNCs running in the port 5900-5909 range.
