Issue: Failed to transfer Capital with CapsLock down

I have tried several versions of Vine Server by accessing it from Windows XP with RealVNC/UltraVNC viewer. But I can never send a capital character to Mac without holding Shift even though I have CapsLock down.

Is it a known issue? Or Vine Server has no plan to support it? Or need extra configuration?

Mac OS X doesn’t allow the actual Caps Lock key to be pressed down via the Remote Operation API.

It would be possible to simulate the Caps Lock behavior within the Server but that currently is not supported.

I also had the caps lock problem and solved it by changing the preferences in vine server:
prefs>device>Keyboard Layout> change to Unicode hex input.

Then caps lock behaves as it should (using RealVNC client on windows 2000)
