I have written a Powershell script that will copy my Performance workspace, make a few updates, and push to Github for code management after removing any files created at runtime (Project Files, WSLock, etc.). The workspace does not have password protection enabled, but when I copy down the updated workspace it is asking for a password which I have never set.
