How do I make Floating License Server a service?

I have installed the Floating License Server on a Windows 2003 R2 machine and it’s working, but the option to “Configure as Startup Item” is always inactive.

So how do I manually set it up as a service, so I don’t have to login to the server machine in order to start FLS?

The floating license server won’t run as a service on Windows. We hope to modify it in the future so that is possible, but it just isn’t right now.
